BioMove Artificial Limb Company understands the need for a more comprehensive care approach. Meeting the needs of the patients with prosthetic fittings is not our main goal.
We understand that the vast majority of patients need much more than just prosthetic fittings. We realize this is a new experience and life changing traumatic event for the individual or family and we strive to provide a more comprehensive approach to our patients by providing— emotional support, compassion, detail-orientation, education and preparation, TEAM work (communication between patient, prosthetists, physical therapists and practitioners), general case management to address any and all potential issues and continued support of the amputee.
Our staff is deeply committed to improving the quality of life of individuals and helping them reach their personal lifestyle goals. We work, as a team to optimize orthotic and prosthetic outcomes based on individuals needs by providing superior service and the finest prosthetic products available.
Our Team keeps up with the latest products, research, and technological advances by attending continuing education courses, professional association meetings and keeping up with the latest scientific journals.
Losing a limb is a big deal. Beyond just the trauma of the experience, for many patients, the road to full recovery can be complicated and hard to navigate. Our process starts with a physician-referred pre-amputation consultation by one of our licensed prosthetists. This allows us to demonstrate various prosthetic devices and to explain the entire process – from surgery to healing and from prosthetic fittings through rehab and physical therapy.
